HORSES & FACILITIES
PROGRAM HORSES
Tall in Saddle owns three horses and one pony, and since we don't have a facility of our own, the horses and pony reside with foster families who feed and care for them. Their names are Shaq, Bubba, Nash & Spree respectively.

Our program covers the cost of preventative veterinary services such as annual vaccinations, deworming, dental care and we are lucky to have farrier services donated.
Donations or sponsorships for horse health care are always greatly appreciated.
volunteer-owned HORSES
We also are lucky to be able to use horses that are privately owned and their owners volunteer the use of them, as well as trailer them to the local farm that hosts our weekly classes. We very much appreciate these special volunteers who commit the use of their special animal(s) so that our program may continue.
All horses and ponies used for the program are put through a series of testing to assess that they will be safe to use for our students. It takes a very special animal to accept some of the situations that occur during our classes, not to mention the activities and games that we play in the name of therapy.
RIDING FACILITIES
Our program holds five weeklday classes at a local privately owned horse farm that donates the use of their indoor riding arena and facility. We greatly appreciate the generosity and kindness of our facility owners that allow Tall in the Saddle to continue.
