Instructors

Our therapeutic riding instructors are certified to teach by NARHA, formerly the North American Handicapped Riding Association and are also required to maintain certification through the Michigan 4-H Proud Equestrian Program (PEP).

Kay Gotham, Sr. Instructor, is certified through Cheff Therapeutic Riding Center and has taught classes for Tall in the Saddle since 1997.

Backup Instructor - Not teaching Spring Session 2012

Chris Boomgaard, Instructor, is a registered instructor with NARHA and certified to teach in Michigan via MI 4-H PEP. She did her student teaching under Kay and has taught classes for Tall in the Saddle since 2002.
